Last Day
'If today was the last day of your life, would you want to do what you are about to do today?' Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs delivered words in a way that touched people at their core. One of his primary tools for speaking such a universal language was his frequent use of death as a reminder. He was a master at sneaking the 'D' word in as a motivator, which to me just adds another layer of depth to his genius. I think he was spot on in his wisdom, and I love the fact that when I read his quotes today, instead of feeling sad that he is gone, I feel inspired by the way he lived.
Inspiration is a living thing, and when we find a way to leave it behind, we truly live forever.
When you ask yourself today's question, is the answer 'yes' or 'no'? If that answer is 'no' too many days in a row, it may be time to make some changes.
