Stretched Tight

 t

“It is the stretched soul that makes music, and souls are stretched by the pull of opposites. Opposite bents, tastes, yearnings, loyalties. Where there is no polarity - where energies flow smoothly in only one direction, there will be much doing- but no music.” Eric Hoffer

It’s only when life stretches us tight that we are able to play the music that our souls came here to play. Being stretched tight does not feel good, but the melody that emerges when we learn to move the bow of our life against those taught strings that authentic growth requires….  that is the music of a lifetime; the music we came here to play.
