Thank You

Today's quote reminds us that the simple act of feeling gratitude creates a direct connection between us and the unseen world. Not only does gratitude have spiritual benefits, there have been numerous scientific studies showing that gratitude creates long-lasting health benefits as well.

For me, the most powerful testament I have ever been given about gratitude has been from the dying. Having sat with hundreds of people during their final hours, I know that the expression of gratitude is very often the last act of a lifetime. If the words 'thank you' are what we choose in our dying, it only makes sense that these same words should be uttered frequently in our living.

With that thought, let me express my gratitude to all of the Rx readers who meet me here each day. Thank you... just two simple words, but when sent from the heart they become a prayer.
